UiPath Infrastructure Engineer

What You'll Bring to the Table:

• Infrastructure Design & Deployment: You analyse infrastructure requirements, design architecture based on collected requirements and company policies, and deploy the infrastructure fabric and applications in scope.
• Technical Proficiency: You're proficient in installing and configuring Windows Server, managing files, permissions, devices, backups, and applications. You understand networking concepts, SQL Server administration, virtual machines, and Active Directory management.
• Maintenance & Monitoring: You monitor, repair, and upgrade the infrastructure and applications as needed, perform backup and recovery operations, and use monitoring and diagnosing tools to troubleshoot issues.
• Documentation & Collaboration: You document infrastructure deployment plans and architecture diagrams, and collaborate with appropriate teams to request and configure resources, certificates, and configurations.
• Continuous Learning & Adaptation: You stay updated with the latest UiPath technologies and best practices, and adapt to new tools and methodologies as the automation landscape evolves.

What You'll Do:

• Analyze Requirements: Understand the applications in scope, license size, and availability requirements.
• Design & Document: Create detailed infrastructure deployment plans and architecture diagrams.
• Deploy & Configure: Set up the infrastructure, deploy applications, and configure necessary resources.
• Test & Monitor: Ensure the infrastructure and applications are functioning correctly through rigorous testing and continuous monitoring.
• Maintain & Upgrade: Keep the infrastructure up-to-date with regular maintenance and upgrades.

Your Experience:

• Windows Proficiency: Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, including server installation, configuration, and management.
• UiPath Platform Components: Deep understanding of UiPath products, including Studio, Robot, and Orchestrator.
• Networking: Strong understanding of networking concepts, including IP addressing, DNS, load balancing, and network security.
• Virtualization & Cloud: Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• SQL Server: Knowledge of SQL Server for managing data within the UiPath platform.
• Standalone Installation: Skills in installing the UiPath Automation Suite on Windows, including both single-node and multi-node deployments.
• Post-Installation Operations: Ability to perform common post-installation operations, such as managing products, nodes, certificates, and clusters.
• Backup & Recovery: Proficiency in setting up and managing backup and recovery operations for UiPath components.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Expertise in using monitoring tools to diagnose and troubleshoot issues within the UiPath platform.
• Project Planning & Execution: Ability to plan, execute, and manage infrastructure projects, including defining the scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Documentation: Proficiency in creating and maintaining project documentation, such as infrastructure deployment plans and architecture diagrams.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues in infrastructure projects.
• Data Analysis: Ability to analyze system performance data and generate insights to improve infrastructure efficiency.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that infrastructure solutions comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Security Best Practices: Implementing security best practices to protect data and ensure the integrity of infrastructure components.
• Effective Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, articulating the benefits and implications of infrastructure solutions.
• Team Collaboration: Skills in collaborating with other infrastructure engineers, developers, and IT teams to deliver successful infrastructure projects.
• Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying updated with the latest developments in infrastructure technologies and best practices.
